Filter large volumes quickly with a polyethylene plastic table-top Buchner funnel that includes your choice of Fritware® or perforated filter plate. The funnel features a removable hose barbed connector that accepts 12.7mm (0.5") I.D. tube and threads into a 0.75" NPT bung on the funnel. The fixed or removable Fritware® porous filter plates are supported by a multiple ring grid made of HDPE, 6.4mm (0.25") thick, which includes a non-porous ring at the periphery that seals filter paper during use. Fritware® porous filter plates come in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), with a use temperature range of maximum 52°C (125°F) and minimum -20°C (-4°F). The fixed or removable perforated filter plates made of 4.8mm (0.1875") thick HDPE feature 4.8mm (0.1875") perforations on 11mm (0.433") centers. These plates are available in two versions: fixed for coarse filtration or use with a cloth or paper filter, and removable for precious metals recovery, with the same use temperature range as the Fritware® plates. To facilitate the filtration process, the F36820-0118 funnel trowel can be used to quickly and efficiently smooth fissures that appear during filtration.
