Filter large volumes quickly with a polyethylene plastic table-top Buchner funnel using your choice of Fritware® or perforated filter plate. The funnel features a removable hose barbed connector that accepts 12.7mm I.D. tube and threads into a ½" NPT bung on the funnel. Fixed or removable Fritware® porous filter plates are supported by a multiple ring grid made of HDPE, 6.4mm thick, with a non-porous ring at the periphery that seals filter paper when used. Fritware® porous filter plates are available in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), with a use temperature range of maximum 52°C (125°F) and minimum -20°C (-4°F). Fixed or removable perforated filter plates are constructed from 4.8mm thick HDPE with 4.8mm perforations on 11mm centers, available in two versions: fixed for coarse filtration or use with a cloth or paper filter, and removable for use in precious metals recovery, also with a use temperature range of maximum 52°C (125°F) and minimum -20°C (-4°F). For added convenience, the F36820-0118 funnel trowel can be used to quickly and efficiently smooth fissures that appear during the filtration process. Note that truck shipping is required for 36" funnels.
