The deep square threads are engineered to withstand vibration, helping to prevent closure back-off during shipping. The bottles feature smooth, rounded surfaces for easy cleaning and thorough emptying, with the underside listing volume, material, and an indexing notch. Additionally, recycling codes are provided on the 500 and 1000 ml bottles. These bottles are autoclavable at 121°C (250°F), though it is important to note that they should not be autoclavable with caps in place.
