Bel-Art's safety labeled wash bottles feature Department of Transportation (DOT) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and symbols, as well as Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) numbers, protective equipment symbols, and target organ information to enhance workplace safety. The bottles are easy to read and designed with a wide mouth measuring 53mm (2") for convenient refilling. They are made from translucent, LDPE solvent-resistant material, with sodium hypochlorite stored in white LDPE for light protection between 230 and 450nm, and toluene contained in a red LDPE bottle. The closures are made of polypropylene, ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements as outlined in Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200.
