The 2-piece valve design prevents pressure build-up of solvents within these right-to-know safety-labeled wash bottles, allowing for the venting of volatiles and eliminating solvent drips. The bottles are pre-printed with essential information including the chemical name, formula, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Section 704 four-color diamond, health hazards, Chemical Abstract System (CAS) number, and recommended protective clothing and equipment. The valve allows for dispensing in both upright and inverted positions, and the wide mouth (53mm or 2 inches) facilitates easy refilling. Each bottle features a polypropylene closure that is color-coded for easy identification, made from translucent, LDPE that is solvent-resistant; sodium hypochlorite bottles are specifically designed with white LDPE for light protection between 230 and 450 nm. These wash bottles ensure compliance with OSHA requirements as outlined in the Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200 and are labeled with five of the most commonly used solvent names, with options for custom labeling available.
