The hand-held, cordless homogenizer features a simple push in/pull out pestle exchange mechanism, making it ideal for thorough and faster processing of one to many samples. The kit includes matched pestle tips and micro tubes that can be used with the homogenizer or for hand processing. These pestles and tubes ensure tight tolerances for thorough homogenization and grinding of materials, resulting in optimal efficiency for pellet reconstitution or re-suspension. The pestles and tubes are chemical and heat resistant, as well as colorant-free, eliminating the risk of heavy metal leaching into samples. The tubes feature 25% thicker bottoms than the industry standard for enhanced integrity during use, along with frosted side and cap surfaces for labeling, a positive seal "snap-cap" design, and a pierceable top for added functionality. The pestles have a unique ribbed shaft that provides precise finger control for shear-sensitive samples and are compatible with most motorized mixer adapters. These products are manufactured and packaged in a Class 10,000 cleanroom and are certified DNase, RNase, and pyrogen-free, made from animal and phthalate/phthalate-ester free polypropylene with lot control and material traceability. The tubes and pestles are available in individually wrapped packages or bulk packed in resealable bags of 100, with an additional heat-seal for tamper indication. Note that sterilized products are not returnable.
