This micro sieve set consists of a stack of four interchangeable polypropylene screen holding sections, a catch pan, a cover, and four screen retaining rings. The sections are friction-fit, making them easy to assemble and disassemble for sample retrieval. Sorting parameters can be adjusted by exchanging the removable phosphor-bronze mesh inserts, with eight included in the set: one each of 25, 35, 45, 60, 80, 120, 170, and 230 standard mesh. Each holding section has a diameter of 56 mm (2") and a height of 41 mm (1"), holding approximately 60 cc. The dimensions of the assembled set with the pan and cover are 21.6 cm (8") in height and 7.2 cm (2") in maximum diameter. Additionally, the kit includes a pack of eight phosphor-bronze screen inserts, one each of the aforementioned mesh sizes.
