These sterile scoops are utilized by pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, and chemical companies for general production or laboratory work. The handle bump acts as a thumb rest to help keep the hand away from the scoop, thereby reducing contamination risks. The flat bottom allows for use as a weigh boat, facilitating approximate volume measurement by removing excess powder. Constructed from FDA and EU conforming materials, these scoops are safe for food, drug, and cosmetic use. They are made of high impact polystyrene (HIPS) and are heat sealed in individual polyethylene bags. Each scoop is gamma irradiated sterile (SAL 10-6) and is ready for one-time use and disposal. Additionally, they are lot stamped for accurate tracing and shipped with a certificate of processing for sterilization. Please note that sterilized products are not returnable. These sampling scoops are specifically designed for retrieving samples from a larger source, and the capacity/volumes are estimated rather than intended for taking exact sample weights or volumes.
