These plastic scoops are rigid, strong, and smooth, featuring a flat bottom that keeps them upright when filled or empty, allowing them to be used as weighing boats or placed on a flat surface. The 60ml and 125ml scoops come with a longer handle that increases the distance between the hand and the sample. Made from rugged polypropylene, these scoops are steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F) and comply with FDA regulations for food, drug, and cosmetic use. The scoops are designed for retrieving samples from a larger source, with capacity/volumes being estimated and not intended for taking exact sample weights/volumes; the stated volumes represent typical heaping samples.
