The hand-held, cordless homogenizer features a simple push in/pull out pestle exchange system, making it ideal for thorough and faster processing of one to many samples. It includes matched pestle tips and micro tubes that can be utilized with the homogenizer or for hand processing. The design assures tight tolerances and facilitates efficient homogenization and grinding of materials, optimizing pellet reconstitution or re-suspension. The pestles and tubes are both chemical and heat resistant, colorant-free to prevent leaching of heavy metals into samples, and the tubes feature 25% thicker bottoms than the industry standard, ensuring integrity during use. Each tube includes frosted side and cap surfaces for labeling, a positive seal "snap-cap" design, and a pierceable top for enhanced functionality. The pestles have a unique ribbed shaft that allows for precise finger control of homogenization for shear-sensitive samples and are compatible with most motorized mixer adapters. All components are manufactured and packaged in a class 10,000 cleanroom environment, ensuring that the pestles and tubes are certified DNase, RNase, and pyrogen-free, and made from animal and phthalate-free polypropylene with lot control and material traceability. The products are available in individually wrapped tubes and pestles packed in resealable bags of 100 each or bulk packed in resealable bags with an additional heat-seal closure to indicate if the package has been opened.
