The kit includes a simple insert, rotate, and withdraw tool designed for cross-sectional sampling of non-flowing, bulk powders, available in three lengths. It features an open blade that efficiently interacts with sticky, cohesive powders, while rounded edges help to secure the sample in place. Constructed from FDA and EU conforming materials, it is safe for food, drug, and cosmetic applications. The high density polyethylene (HDPE) lance is heat sealed in an individual polyethylene bag, gamma irradiated sterile with a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10-6, and ready for one-time use and disposal. Each tool is lot stamped for accurate tracing and is shipped with a certificate of processing for sterilization. Note that sterilized products are not returnable.
