The hand-held, cordless homogenizer features a simple push in/pull out pestle exchange and is designed for thorough and faster processing of one to many samples. The kit includes matched pestle tips and micro tubes that can be utilized with the homogenizer or for hand processing. Both the pestles and tubes ensure tight tolerances and effective homogenization and grinding of materials, promoting optimal efficiency when reconstituting or re-suspending pellets. The pestles and tubes are chemical and heat resistant, and colorant-free to prevent leaching of heavy metals into samples. The tubes have 25% thicker bottoms than industry standards for enhanced integrity during use, and each tube is designed with frosted side and cap surfaces for labeling, a positive seal "snap-cap" design, and a pierceable top for added functionality. The pestles are equipped with a unique ribbed shaft for precise finger control during homogenization, suitable for shear-sensitive samples, and are compatible with most motorized mixer adapters. Manufactured and packaged in a class 10,000 cleanroom, both pestles and tubes are certified DNase, RNase, and pyrogen-free, made from animal and phthalate/phthalate-ester-free polypropylene with lot control and material traceability. The products are available as individually wrapped tubes and pestles overpacked in resealable bags of 100 each or bulk packed in resealable bags with an additional heat seal to indicate if the package has been opened. Note that sterilized products are not returnable.
