The kit facilitates the aspiration or dispensing of 96 wells in less than 10 seconds, enhancing the efficiency of repetitive washing, dispensing, or aspirating tasks by allowing simultaneous operations. It is particularly effective for changing media or for the addition and removal of reagents from a 96 well plate. The device features a connection for a disposable plastic syringe and includes a vacuum outlet at one end, with a short length of 3.2mm I.D. tubing provided for syringe connection. The sterile/disposable model is made of clear, disposable plastic designed for single use and cannot be autoclaved or gas sterilized. Alternatively, the autoclaveable/reusable model is constructed from polycarbonate and requires sterilization by autoclaving at no more than 121° C for 20 minutes at 15 psi before use to prevent contamination, but it cannot be gas sterilized due to the risk of residual trapped gases. A 30ml or larger disposable sterile syringe is required for operation (not included). Note that sterilized products are not returnable.
