The Manitowoc Luminice II virus and bacteria inhibitor is designed specifically for use on Manitowoc Neo undercounter ice machines and defends against viruses and bacteria utilizing a uniquely designed 254 nm UVC germicidal light and 185 nm UVV light to create cold oxygen plasma (COP). This innovative system effectively reduces yeast and bacteria growth, as demonstrated by independent lab testing, resulting in a cleaner ice machine with easier cleaning and reduced slime build-up that accelerates the regular cleaning process. The fully integrated design allows the device to mount inside the Indigo NXT ice machine, powered by the board and seamlessly integrated with the EasyTouch® display for user convenience. The system is easy to use, requiring no chemicals for maintenance; only a simple UV bulb change once a year is recommended to maintain effectiveness, with the Indigo NXT featuring a sanitation icon in the EasyTouch® display that changes from blue to red when it's time to replace the bulb.
