This heavy-duty industrial PTFE tape is specifically designed for high-quality applications, featuring more PTFE per square inch compared to standard PTFE 3 tape. The thickness measures .0035 inches (.0005 inches), with a density of 0.7 g/cm³. It provides a tight seal for threaded joints while allowing for easy disassembly and can withstand temperatures ranging from -268°C to +500°C (450°F). The tape is packaged in an individual plastic dispenser and is suitable for use on oxygen systems. Additionally, it is non-toxic and non-flammable, meeting federal specification MIL-T-27730A.
