The heavy-duty industrial PTFE tape is designed for high-quality applications, featuring more PTFE per square inch compared to standard PTFE 3 tape. It has a thickness of 0.0035 inches, a thickness of 0.0005 inches, and a density of 0.7 g/cm³. This tape creates a tight seal for any threaded joint while allowing for easy disassembly, and it can withstand temperatures ranging from -268°C to +500°F (450°F). The product is housed in an individual plastic dispenser and is suitable for use on oxygen systems. Additionally, the tape is non-toxic and non-flammable, meeting the federal specification MIL-T-27730A.
