Solu-Flux is a 100% soluble flux designed for use with most plumbing solders, particularly lead-free solders, operating at a working temperature range of 250°F to 520°F. It is safe for use on potable water systems and compatible with copper, brass, galvanized, tin, zinc, and other commonly soldered metals, though it is not recommended for aluminum. The flux conforms to ASTM B813/93 standards and is characterized by its easy application, self-cleaning properties, non-fuming, and non-corrosive nature. Solu-Flux exhibits excellent wetting characteristics, which enhance solder flow and result in superior joints. It remains stable in its container, as it will not liquefy and will not harden or dry out over time.
