The product is made from virgin PTFE with a thickness of .0035 inches and .0005 inches, and has a density of 0.37 g/cm³. It provides a tight seal for any threaded joint while allowing for easy disassembly, and can withstand temperatures ranging from -268 degrees Celsius to +500 degrees Fahrenheit. The product is packaged in an individual plastic dispenser and is specifically designed for use on oxygen systems. It is non-toxic and non-flammable, meeting the federal specification MIL-T-27730A.
