The Water-Jel heat shield blanket is constructed from worsted wool featuring an intercellular weave that can absorb up to 13 times its own weight. It incorporates a biodegradable, bacteriostatic, and water-soluble gel designed to extinguish flames, cool burns, and mitigate burn progression and pain. This product helps stabilize the patient and prepares them for transport to a burn center or emergency room. The blanket is packaged in a convenient orange canister and is made in the USA.
