The BSC preferred welding strip door is designed to enhance safety in welding environments by blocking UV light emitted by welding arcs, and is approved by OSHA for this purpose. Each complete kit includes an 8" x 8' welding strip with a 50% overlap for easy installation and comes with BSC preferred Save-T Loc universal galvanized-steel mounting hardware. The strips are made from Weld-Tint compound, which incorporates fire retardant additives and high levels of UV stabilizers to ensure durability. The dimensions of the door cover a wide entrance-way of 6'W x 8'H, effectively creating safer welding spaces within your facility. It is important to note that proper eye protection should always be utilized for direct viewing during welding operations.
