The BSC Preferred Welding Strip Door is designed to enhance safety in welding environments by blocking UV light emitted from welding arcs, and is approved by OSHA. This kit includes 8" strips with a 50% overlap for efficient installation, ensuring coverage of wide entrance ways at dimensions of 10'W x 6'H. The strips are made from a Weld-Tint compound that incorporates fire retardant additives and high levels of UV stabilizers to maintain their quality over time. Additionally, the complete package comes with universal galvanized-steel mounting hardware, known as Save-T Loc, facilitating easy and secure installation. It is important to note that for direct viewing of welding activities, appropriate eye protection should always be used.
