Constructed using the Meehanite® casting process, Jet variable speed milling machines provide consistent and reliable operation. The kit includes a precision bored and honed milling head, a large diameter chromed quill, high precision class 7 spindle bearings, and a chrome plated motor shaft with lower bearing support. The spindle head is internally cooled, and the machine features a heavy duty splined motor drive, a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, and a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop, which enhances usability. Additionally, a heavy duty spindle brake is included for safety. The Jet JTM-4VS series mills are available in single or three phase power configurations and are backed by a two year full service and parts warranty. The mills are certified for Meehanite® castings, ensuring their durability and quality.
