Constructed using the Meehanite® casting process, the JTM-1050EVS2/230, 10" x 50" electronic variable speed milling machine provides consistent and reliable operation. The newly designed column and base incorporate a rigid, robust design that is easily leveled without lifting the machine. Jet mills feature a two-year warranty and are designed with certified Meehanite® casting and enhanced ribbing to ensure rigidity and tolerance retention. The swing away control box houses an E-stop and puts all controls at the operator's fingertips, while the innovative design of the machine base allows for easier leveling without raising it off the floor. An automatic oiler releases 3 to 6 cc/cy of lubrication at adjustable time intervals, and the heavy-duty spindle brake enhances safety by stopping the spindle and interrupting power to prevent accidental start-ups. The relocated electrical box at the back of the mill houses two 115V outlets for powered accessories. This machine is CSA/CUS certified, with Class 7 spindle bearings supporting the spindle for maximum rigidity in heavy cutting applications. The spindle head is internally cooled to extend the life of bearings, belts, and motors, and the table and ways are hardened up to 54 HRC and precision ground for greater accuracy.
