The kit includes caps designed to fit plain end culture tubes and flasks with Delong style necks or ports, molded from durable, autoclavable polypropylene (PP). The caps feature ridges on the inside to ensure a secure grip and facilitate gas exchange. Available in five colors, these caps assist in easy sample identification and organization while maintaining sterility without the need for cotton plugging. They effectively reduce sample evaporation compared to cotton plugging and provide the same evaporation and sterility benefits as stainless steel closures.
