The kit includes caps designed to fit plain end culture tubes and flasks with Delong style necks or ports, molded from durable, autoclavable polypropylene (PP). The caps feature internal ridges that provide a secure grip and allow for gas exchange, maintaining sterility without the need for cotton plugging while effectively reducing sample evaporation compared to traditional methods. Additionally, these caps offer the same evaporation and sterility benefits as stainless steel closures. Available in five colors, they facilitate easy sample identification and organization.
