The kit includes caps designed to fit plain end culture tubes and flasks with Delong style necks or ports. These caps are molded from durable, autoclavable polypropylene (PP) and feature ridges inside the cap that provide a secure grip and allow for gas exchange. Available in five colors, the caps facilitate easy sample identification and organization. They maintain sterility without the need for cotton plugging and reduce sample evaporation compared to cotton plugging, while offering the same evaporation and sterility benefits as stainless steel closures.
