The kit includes caps designed to fit plain end culture tubes and flasks with Delong style necks or ports, molded from durable, autoclavable polypropylene (PP). The caps feature ridges inside for a secure grip and facilitate gas exchange. They are available in five colors for easy sample identification and organization. These caps maintain sterility without the need for cotton plugging and effectively reduce sample evaporation compared to traditional cotton plugging. Additionally, they offer the same evaporation and sterility benefits as stainless steel closures.
