The kit includes caps designed to fit plain end culture tubes and flasks with DeLong style necks or ports, molded from durable, autoclavable polypropylene (PP). Each cap features ridges inside that provide a secure grip and facilitate gas exchange. Available in five colors for easy sample identification and organization, these caps maintain sterility without the need for cotton plugging, thereby reducing sample evaporation compared to traditional cotton plugs. They offer the same evaporation and sterility benefits as stainless steel closures.
