Globe Scientific's plastic culture tubes are available in two materials: polystyrene (PS) and polypropylene (PP). The polystyrene tubes are capable of withstanding centrifugation speeds of up to 1500 RPM, while the polypropylene tubes can endure 3000 RPM and are both autoclavable and freezable. Each tube features dual position snap caps made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), allowing for either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples. The kit includes tubes with these specific attributes, ensuring a versatile solution for various laboratory needs.
