The kit includes vials and caps that are lot certified to be human DNA free, RNase free, DNase free, pyrogen free, and ATP free, ensuring high-quality performance. The components are non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, non-mutagenic, heavy metals free, and BSE/TSE free, and they are manufactured, assembled, and packaged in an ISO 7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom environment. Each item is sterilized by beta radiation with a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10-6. The enhanced cap features a star socket designed specifically for use with automated capping/decapping equipment, while the slim profile cap design ensures a better fit in racks and boxes. A unique barcode is printed on each vial for automated data collection, alongside a white writing surface for specimen identification and printed graduations for accurate measurements. Both vials and caps are autoclavable and are produced from medical-grade raw materials that will not discolor after re-sterilization. The packaging is tamper evident, and the self-standing tubes interlock with Globe workstation racks. These vials are not suitable for use in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen.
