The kit includes vials that are lot certified to be human DNA free, RNase free, DNase free, pyrogen free, and ATP free, ensuring high-quality standards for laboratory use. Each vial is non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, non-mutagenic, and free from heavy metals and BSE/TSE, manufactured, assembled, and packaged in an ISO 7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom environment. The vials are sterilized by beta radiation with a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10-6. Key features include an enhanced cap with a star socket specifically designed for automated capping and decapping equipment, a slim profile cap design for better fit in racks and boxes, and a unique barcode printed on each vial for automated data collection. The vials also have a white writing surface for specimen identification, printed graduations for accurate measurements, and are autoclavable, produced from medical-grade raw materials that will not discolor after re-sterilization. Additionally, the packaging is tamper-evident, and the self-standing tubes interlock with Globe workstation racks, although they should not be used in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen.
