The kit includes vials and caps that are lot certified to be human DNA free, RNase free, DNase free, pyrogen free, and ATP free, ensuring high-quality standards. The vials are manufactured, assembled, and packaged in an ISO 7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom, and are sterilized by beta radiation with a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10-6. Notably, the enhanced cap features a star socket specifically designed for use with automated capping and decapping equipment, while the slim profile cap design provides a better fit in racks and boxes. Each vial includes a unique barcode for automated data collection, and a white writing surface facilitates specimen identification. Printed graduations allow for accurate measurements, and all components are autoclavable. The vials are produced from medical grade raw materials that will not discolor after re-sterilization, and the packaging is tamper evident. Additionally, the self-standing tubes interlock with Globe workstation racks, though they are not to be used in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen.
