The kit includes durable, non-breakable polystyrene (PS) spreaders that pose no safety hazard unlike glass spreaders. The spreaders are designed in an L-shape for convenient "lazy" spreading, allowing users to simply turn the Petri dish for smooth and even sample distribution.
