The AX Series exhaust fan is a sturdily constructed, direct drive, horizontal discharge fan designed for general ventilation in factories, garages, warehouses, and other industrial or commercial buildings. It is available in multiple single-speed variations as well as two-speed and variable speed models. The fan housings are made of heavy-duty aluminum and feature built-in shutters that open automatically when the fan is activated and close by gravity when it stops. Key features include all-aluminum extrusion construction, heavy wire chrome plated OSHA guards on the intake side for 8" to 24" models, and grey powder-coated guards for the 30", 36", and 42" models. The fan also incorporates a totally enclosed air over motor with overload protection. The dimensions and specifications vary according to the model chosen.
