Designed for industrial, commercial, and farming applications, the AX series exhaust fan is a sturdily constructed, direct drive, horizontal discharge fan typically used for general ventilation of factories, garages, warehouses, and other industrial or commercial buildings. The AX fans are available in multiple single-speed variations, as well as two-speed and variable speed models. The housings are constructed of heavy-duty aluminum and feature built-in shutters that automatically open when the fan starts and gravity close when the fan stops. Some models are available with an optional DCVolt motor. The fans range in size from 8" to 42" and include heavy wire chrome plated OSHA guards on the intake side of the fan for the 8" - 24" models, while the 30", 36", and 42" models are equipped with grey powder-coated guards. The fans also feature a totally enclosed air-over motor with overload protection, and models up to 24" can be shipped via UPS. Optional accessories include speed controls, thermostats, front guard, and weather hoods.
