To help prevent surgical site infection, it is critical to reduce and restrict microorganisms from entering the open surgical wound. Steri-Drape® incise drapes provide a sterile surface to the wound edge at the start of surgery. The film adheres securely to wound edges, which is critical in maintaining the barrier to skin flora. The drape creates a sterile surface at the beginning of surgery, and the drape adhesive adheres securely to skin and immobilizes bacteria. Incise draping is used during surgical procedures, and plastic film provides a barrier to liquids. Each box includes 10 ea, with 4 boxes per case, maximizing efficiency by providing fluid control, while saving time and money by helping to eliminate the need to add a pouch to the drape. Aperture drapes feature adjustable apertures that allow for custom fitting to each patient, aiding in the reduction of inventory and cost of drapes.
