The Bair Hugger system is designed to enhance forced-air warming, allowing clinicians to provide both comfort and clinical warming throughout the perioperative process. The system includes a single gown that is effective for prewarming patients before surgery and continues to provide clinical warming during the procedure when connected to a 3M™ Bair Hugger™ warming unit. After surgery, the gown maintains its warming capabilities in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The gown features patient-adjustable warming and includes a second clinical hose port located in the lower portion, enabling lower body warming without the need to reposition the gown. The small size of the gown is specifically suited for adolescent and petite surgical patients, addressing the common issue of cold lower extremities before and after surgery. Additionally, the system can be complemented with booties to enhance patient comfort. The gown offers full coverage with a wrap-around design and provides flexibility with its dual clinical hose ports.
