Made of crystal clear polystyrene, these 12x75mm FlowTubes™ have a 5ml capacity and are specifically designed for fluorescence activated cell sorting/flow cytometry equipment, including FACS systems from BD Biosciences. The diameter and wall thickness of the tube's neck are maintained to very tight tolerances to ensure consistent compatibility with automated instruments. They are available with three options: a standard two-position culture cap, no cap, or a cap that incorporates a 35μm nylon mesh screen to aid in cell sorting and straining applications. Each tube is individually wrapped for convenience, making them ideal for collecting dissociated samples for subsequent processing in automated flow cytometry instruments.
