Made of crystal clear polystyrene, these 12x75mm FlowTubes™ are specifically designed for fluorescence activated cell sorting and flow cytometry equipment, including FACS systems from BD Biosciences. The diameter and wall thickness of the tube's neck are maintained within very tight tolerances to ensure consistent compatibility with automated instruments. The tubes are available with three options: a standard two-position culture cap, no cap, or a cap featuring a 35µm nylon mesh screen, which assists in cell sorting and straining applications. They primarily serve to collect dissociated samples for subsequent processing in automated flow cytometry instruments. Each tube has a 5ml capacity and is individually wrapped, making them ideal for sterile and precise laboratory use.
