MTC Bio's 5ml Macrotube® cardboard freezer boxes are constructed from recyclable material and feature a liquid-resistant outer coating. The boxes are shipped fully assembled and are available in two configurations: the 55 version, which accommodates 25 x 5ml snap-cap tubes, and the 66 version, which holds 36 x 5ml screw-cap tubes. Each box is designed with liquid nitrogen drainage slots and is marked with alpha-numeric coding for easy identification, with numbered grid markings placed in various locations including the top, bottom, and sides. The polycarbonate box has a usable temperature range of -196° to +121°, making it suitable for various laboratory conditions.
