Our 50ml centrifuge tubes are made of premium polypropylene for clarity and centrifugal strength, and they are designed to withstand freezing temperatures as low as -86° C. The maximum centrifugal force for these tubes is 15,000 x g when used with liquids of a specific gravity of 1.0, utilizing appropriate rotors, cushions, and adapters. The caps feature a flat top surface for easy marking and labeling, while models C2605 and C2630 come with a 'skirted' bottom that allows the tubes to stand upright without the need for a separate test tube rack. The C2600 series tubes are leakproof to a pressure of 95 kPa/14 psi. These tubes are sterile and are free from RNase, DNase, pyrogens, and cytotoxins. They are available racked or bagged and are compatible with standard rotors. Additionally, the tubes feature a frosted marking surface for identification.
