Our 50ml centrifuge tubes are constructed from premium polypropylene, ensuring both clarity and robust centrifugal strength. These tubes and caps can withstand freezing temperatures as low as -86° C, with a maximum centrifugal force capacity of 15,000 x g for the 50ml tubes, applicable to liquids with a specific gravity of 1.0 when using compatible rotors, cushions, and adapters. The caps feature a flat top surface for easy marking and labeling, while models C2605 and C2630 are designed with a 'skirted' bottom that enables the tubes to stand upright without a separate test tube rack. All models in the C2600 series are leakproof to a pressure of 95 kPa/14 psi. These tubes are sterile, RNase, DNase, pyrogen, and cytotoxin free, and are available either racked or bagged, making them compatible with standard rotors. Additionally, they have a frosted marking surface for easy identification.
