Ovation® pipettes are designed with a unique and patented ergonomic shape that significantly reduces strain and discomfort associated with pipetting while ensuring superior accuracy and precision. The angled design allows users to maintain a low arm and elbow height, thereby decreasing tension in the neck, shoulder, back, and elbow. Key features include a contoured body shape with an adjustable hook for a comfortable grip, spring-loaded tip acquisition that requires only a gentle push for tip attachment with an audible "click" for confirmation, and an easy tip ejection mechanism that minimizes force needed to detach tips. Special filters in the nozzle prevent liquid from aspirating into the pipettor, protecting it from contamination, and the design allows the pipettes to stand on their own, preventing tips from touching the bench. Mechanical models offer two-stroke operation with options for "click stop" or "quick set digital" volume adjustment ranging from 0.2L to 1000L, while electronic models include features such as custom volume presets, multi-dispensing, mixing, and serial diluting with volume capacities from 0.5L to 1250L. Additional electronic options include macro models in 5mL and 10mL, and multichannel models with 8 and 12 channels. Single channel models also come equipped with a built-in micro tube cap opener and all models are color-coded for quick and easy volume identification.
