Ovation® pipettes feature a unique and patented ergonomic design, specifically engineered to address the issues of posture, repetition, and force, significantly reducing strain and discomfort associated with pipetting while ensuring superior accuracy and precision. The angled shape enables users to pipette at a low arm and elbow height, minimizing tension and related pain in the neck, shoulder, back, and elbow. When utilized correctly, Ovation pipettes maintain the user's hand and wrist in the neutral position recommended by ergonomic experts. The kit includes a contoured body shape with an adjustable hook for a comfortable, custom fit handhold, a spring-loaded tip acquisition system requiring only a gentle push to attach tips, and an audible "click" to confirm secure attachment. Tips can easily be ejected with a low force push of the button, and special filters in the nozzle prevent liquid from being aspirated into the pipettor, safeguarding it against contamination. Notably, Ovation pipettes are designed to stand independently, ensuring that tips do not contact the bench surface. Mechanical models offer a two-stroke operation with "click stop" or "quick set digital" volume adjustment (0.2L - 1000L), while electronic models provide custom volume presets, multi-dispensing, mixing, and serial diluting capabilities (0.5L - 1250L). Additionally, electronic macro 5mL and 10mL, as well as electronic 8 and 12 multichannel models, are available, with single channel models featuring a built-in micro tube cap opener and color-coded for quick volume identification.
