Elma Tec Clean A4 Universal Ultrasonic Degreaser is an alkaline concentrated ultrasonic cleaning solution designed to clean a variety of materials including all metals, plastics, ceramics, glass, quartz, and rubber. It effectively removes cutting and machining coolant/residue, grease, oils, soot, carbon, wax, fingerprints, and dust. The solution is versatile, addressing most ultrasonic cleaning challenges, and is simple to use, fast acting, and economical. Elma Tec Clean A4 is commonly utilized for cleaning engine parts, gears, bearings, carburetors, fuel injectors, bicycle parts, filters and screens, newly machined metal parts, plastic parts, and complex parts made of various metals, alloys, and plastics. Additionally, it is effective on plumbing fixtures, hardware, locks, printer toner cassettes, and sport and recreation power equipment. To use, dilute the concentrate with water to create a 1 to 5% solution based on the condition of the parts being cleaned; for example, a 2.5-liter container of Tec Clean A4 can produce approximately 15 gallons of cleaning solution. The mildly alkaline solution facilitates the dislodging of contaminants from surfaces, with grease, oil, and wax rising to the top for easy disposal. This allows for multiple cleaning cycles, contingent on the level of contaminants, and due to its water-based composition, Tec Clean A4 is biodegradable, though it is important to adhere to local regulations concerning the disposal of spent solutions.
