Elma Tec Clean A1 is a highly concentrated ultrasonic cleaning solution specifically designed for cleaning PCBs, motherboards, electronic parts, fine optics, and plastics. It effectively removes contaminants such as water damage, water-soluble flux, oil, grease, fingerprints, dust, coffee, tea, cola, and milk. This solution is fast and efficient, easy to use, and safe for delicate parts, being biodegradable and free rinsing to ensure no chemical residue remains after rinsing with water. The recommended dilution is 3-10% with water; for instance, a 2.5-liter bottle can create a 5% solution to clean up to 15 gallons for PCB applications. Elma Tec Clean A1 is formulated for easy rinsing with distilled or deionized water and can be reused until its effectiveness diminishes, which depends on usage frequency and contamination levels. It is essential to adhere to local regulations for disposal, given its biodegradable nature. For cleaning PCBs, the procedure involves adding the solution to the cleaning tank, setting the heater to the desired temperature, activating ultrasonic power to mix and degas the solution, immersing the circuit boards, and subsequently rinsing and drying them after cleaning.
