Elma Tec Clean A1 is a highly concentrated ultrasonic cleaning solution specifically designed for cleaning PCBs, motherboards, electronic parts, fine optics, and plastics. It effectively removes contaminants such as water damage, water-soluble flux, oil, grease, fingerprints, dust, coffee, tea, cola, and milk. The solution is fast and efficient, easy to use, and safe for delicate parts, being biodegradable and free rinsing, which ensures no chemical residue remains after rinsing with water. Elma Tec Clean A1 should be diluted to 3-10% with water before use; for instance, a 2.5-liter bottle can create a 5% solution that dilutes to 15 gallons for PCB cleaning. The mildly alkaline solution can be reused until its effectiveness diminishes, which may vary based on cleaning frequency and contamination levels. It is essential to consult local regulations for disposal guidelines. To clean PCBs, mix Tec Clean A1 with water in the ultrasonic cleaner according to the instructions, set the heater to the desired temperature, and activate the ultrasonic power before immersing the circuit boards in the solution. After cleaning, the boards should be rinsed and dried.
