Nu-Calgon - Special HD Calclean is an extra-strong liquid detergent formulated with surface-active agents, grease solvents, alkaline cleaners, corrosion inhibitors, and water conditioners, specifically for cleaning electronic air filters. This detergent effectively removes tough residues such as tobacco tars, dirt, grease, and smoke tar from filter plates without corroding or tarnishing aluminum or other metals when used at recommended concentrations. The application process is straightforward; simply spray it on, and HD Calclean will quickly penetrate and loosen caked-on residues, rendering them water soluble for easy rinsing. Cleaning can be accomplished with a standard hose or by using any of the Nu-Calgon sprayers if a water connection isn't available.
