The new Carrier WeatherMaker® rooftop units (RTU) with EcoBlue™ technology are designed to integrate advanced features for enhanced performance. The 48/50FC WeatherMaker® units, available in sizes up to 6 tons, are specifically compatible with Carrier roof curbs installed since 1989, facilitating straightforward replacements without the need for curb adapters or changes to utility connections. These single-stage units achieve SEER ratings up to 14.0 and IEER ratings up to 15.2, and all models support either vertical or horizontal airflow configurations. The unit is engineered for user-friendliness, featuring "no-strip" screw collars and accessible handled panels for effortless installation and maintenance. Each WeatherMaker unit is field-convertible to horizontal airflow to accommodate unforeseen job-site challenges. The lightweight design simplifies replacement, and the standard integrated unit control board (UCB) allows for fast plug-in connections with clearly labeled points to streamline installation. The dimensions and specific technical attributes are tailored to provide optimal comfort and control from a packaged rooftop solution, ensuring compliance with necessary certifications and standards.
