The new Carrier WeatherMaker® rooftop units (RTU) equipped with EcoBlue™ technology are engineered to meet customer needs while providing significant innovations. The 48/50FC WeatherMaker® units are available in sizes up to 6 tons and are designed to seamlessly fit on Carrier roof curbs installed since 1989, facilitating easy replacements without the requirement for curb adapters or alterations to utility connections. These single-stage units offer Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratios (SEER) up to 14.0 and Integrated Energy Efficiency Ratios (IEER) up to 15.2. All models support both vertical and horizontal airflow configurations, allowing for versatile installation options. The design features “no-strip” screw collars and handled access panels for straightforward installation and maintenance. The units are easy to adapt with field-convertible airflow, catering to unexpected job-site challenges. Lightweight construction simplifies replacement, while fast plug-in connections to the integrated unit control board (UCB) and clearly labeled connection points help reduce installation time. The WeatherMaker units are only permitted for sale in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York.
